Accelerating the accessibility of Prosthetics
The Indent Project is a Not-For-Profit organization bringing together like minded individuals and organisations in the pursuit of giving back to our global society, with a specific intent to bring much needed prosthetics to the children caught in global conflicts.
Our Mission
To accelerate the accessibility of prosthetics to children impacted by global conflicts.
This will occur via two parralel streams:
1. Integration of existing NFPs, NGOs, Prosthetics manufacturers and “on the ground” medical teams across multiple geographies
2. To create the next generation of low cost, high functioning prosthetics through a joint design authority made of Engineers, Designers and Medical Professionals.
Our focus starts with children, particularly across Palestine, Afghanistan and various African nations (Congo, Sudan etc.).
How We Help
Accelerating Prosthetic availability
Through our global partner network, we strive to bring the world closer to those who need it most. Children in war-torn countries and innocent men and women whose lives have been permenantly damaged through amputation of limb(s).
Creating Accessible Prosthetics
Our Medical Prosthesis design teams are combinations of Engineers of various disciplines (Biomedical, Mechanical, Product), healthcare professionals (Physiotherapists, surgeons and college professors) who collectively wish to create a new generation of low cost, high function prosthetics to support the growing number of men, women and children in need of support.
