FAQ

What is The Indent Project?

The Indent Project is a charitable organisation committed to bringing prosthetic limbs to the global community who are most in need. We will prioritise accessibility for children, particularly those in need of multiple limbs.
Our mission is to fast track availability of existing solutions whilst also leveraging our growing community in designing the next generation of low cost, high functioning prosthetics.

How can I get involved with The Indent Project?

There are many ways you can get involved with The Indent Project and make a positive impact. You can volunteer your time, skills and expertise to support our Pillar 2 initiatives, this is particularly relevant if you have a Technology, Medical, Product Design or Engineering background.

If you are able to navigate government or institutional funding models, or have experience in social crowdsourcing solutions, we would love to have your support, of course time isn’t something many have readily availble, so direct financial contributions will truly support us in continuing this life changing work.

What impact has The Indent Project had?

TheIndentProject has formally commenced as of May 2024, we are tentatively set a phase 1 shipment of prosthetics under Pillar 1 by November 2024, and for our first prototype to be created under Pillar 2 by December 2024.
